A data security business should be clear about its own data. Here's exactly what we collect and why.
Who we are
TrustWipe is the trading name of Soufiane Taoufik, based in Dalkeith, Midlothian. Contact: hello@trustwipe.co.uk.
What we collect
When you use our booking form or email us, we collect your name, business name, contact details, the address for the visit, and anything you tell us about your devices. We use it only to reply, quote, arrange visits and invoice you.
The booking form is processed by Web3Forms, which passes your request to us by email and doesn't use it for anything else.
Cookies and tracking
This website doesn't use cookies, advertising trackers or third-party analytics. Fonts are served from our own site, so your visit isn't shared with font providers.
Data on the devices we wipe
We don't access, copy or keep any data from devices we wipe. Our records hold only device details needed for the certificate: make, model, drive serial number, method, result and date.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't become work are deleted after 12 months. Customer records and invoices are kept for six years, as required for tax purposes. Certificate records are kept for six years so we can reissue them if you need a copy.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it. Email hello@trustwipe.co.uk. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
